Job Description

As a Data Conversion Specialist with Sonovision Canada, you will join an energetic team, passionate about the work they do. As part of the Data Conversion Team, you will be expected to prepare documents for conversion and review converted documentation for completeness and accuracy. This is an excellent full time position for a new graduate looking to break into the industry!


Typical Duties

  • Preparing documents for data conversion.
  • Reviewing documents that have completed post-conversion authoring for accuracy and completeness.
  • Updating converted documents to ensure structural and data accuracy.
  • Creating the final deliverable for the customer.
  • Incorporating customer comments into the final document.
  • Sending feedback to the design team to help improve conversion processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to meet deadlines.
  • Must be flexible to changing priorities and a fast-paced work environment.
  • Experience with SGML and XML is an asset.

The successful candidate must complete a background check, which will include previous employment reference checks, education verification, and a criminal history review.

This position requires a minimum of 10-years consecutive residency in Canada to attain a NATO Secret Clearance. For this position, the successful candidate must also be able to meet all Controlled Goods Program requirements.
