Job Description

As a Project Manager with Sonovision USA, you will join an energetic team of documentation specialists, passionate about the work they do. As part of the project management team, you will be expected to be a focal point for our customer's engineering team and work with the rest of the Sonovision team to address all their technical documentation requirements, issues and questions. Part of these duties will include working with the Sonovision team to create and process revisions for service and maintenance information/documents.

Typical Duties

  • Provide support to site engineers
  • Monitor quality and schedule performance for all customer jobs and provide weekly/monthly reports.
  • Attend site/customer meetings.
  • Coordinate the activities to revise/edit documents.
  • Prioritize work and give accurate direction by balancing schedule demands across the workload.
  • May participate on teams improving processes, training, and tool implementation for all assigned documentation needs
  • Must hold a valid passport and be able to travel internationally between Canada and USA (approximately once per quarter, 4x per year) to visit client locations 
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience

  • One year of project management experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Assets

  • PMI certification
  • Aerospace employment or educational background
  • Experience with the following types of documentation;
    • Service, maintenance, operation, ground support, accessory information
  • Knowledge of technical documentation specifications and standards, such as ATA 100, ATA 2200 and S1000D
